Natural Treatments For Lymphedema
It took some time for the lymphedema in my leg to begin. I first noticed an issue after I engaged in a private yoga session; it almost felt like I’d pulled a muscle near my groin. Soon, though, the swelling started and it hurt to walk around. I set up an appointment to see my primary care physician, and he realized it was lymphedema. He referred me out to a clinic; the nurse took a look at the situation and told me that there was nothing that could be done for the issue. I’m not one to take things lying down, so I promptly retorted that I would resolve the issue sooner or later. She seemed doubtful. However, on subsequent visits, she expressed astonishment at the progress in my condition and wanted to know what I was doing to heal. I just grinned at her and then let her know that I was following a few helpful guidelines to improve the situation. These are outlined below.
1. Green Plants
I began including more green plants in my diet. These are anti-inflammatory and help to get rid of toxins in the body.
Using vegetables and fruits, I’ve been making my own juice. It is chock full of minerals, vitamins and enzymes that help promote good health.
3. Processed Foods
I’ve eliminated processed foods and any foods that have a lot of acid. This includes things like bread, cakes, biscuits, dairy, and sweets.
Water helps the body to function at its highest level. It also gets rid of toxins. Therefore, I’ve made an effort to drink plenty of water each day.
5. Dry Skin Brushing
The lymph system helps to get toxins and other fluids out of the body. Dry skin brushing is a method that helps kick the lymph system into high gear. If it is not working properly, the lymph system is unlikely to get rid of the fluid that is causing the lymphedema. However, one word of caution here; make sure you don’t brush too vigorously, as you don’t want to cause problems for the lymph nodes that are in the area.
You should have a stocking on the limb that is having the issue. You can get one from a lymphedema clinic in your area.
7. Working Out
It is important to stay active, so that the lymph system continues to work well and get rid of that extra fluid in the body.
Visualization is an important tool that can help people work through many different problems. In this case, it helped me to heal. It is important to note that your body can’t tell if something is imaginary or if something is real. Therefore, if you visualize yourself whole again and picture the fluid draining from the affected area, you are much more likely to get better. Set aside a few minutes each day to picture what you want to happen with your condition. Your body should respond.
Life is stressful. We live in a world where everyone is constantly on the go or burying their nose in technology. Give yourself time to meditate and allow yourself the chance to reconnect with your own body. Spending a little time in peace and quiet will help you to feel much better about everything that is going on.
10. Coffee Enemas
If your liver is not functioning properly, your lymph system is going to have a hard time working well, too. Coffee enemas can solve this problem; they get rid of the toxins in the liver and also assist the body in getting rid of the toxins altogether.
10. CBD Oil
Depended upon the cause of the lymphedema that has already been, the CBD oil may be able to help you significantly. If not treated right away, they are able effect other problems to happen such as obesity and rheumatoid arthritis. Situations may develop such as lymphangiosarcoma, a type of soft tissue cancer that is a byproduct of this condition. Irrespective of which one “youve had”, there have been numerous prominent analyzes that have shown that CBD oil can help with almost all of these. With the exception of surgery, CBD oil has been shown to slow down the progression of lymphedema, and likewise reduce the sting relating to this condition
By doing each one of the things that were noted above, I made drastic improvements with my lymphedema. In fact, I healed myself. There are no guarantees that what happened for me will also happen for you. However, you really can’t go wrong in following the steps above. If nothing else, the extra exercise and better diet will help you to live a healthier life. Also, these steps should help you lose weight and that will affect your lymphedema as well. Even now, if I start to gain weight, I notice that my leg starts to swell a little. However, if I eat well and stay active, I don’t have that same problem.
The goal is to get rid of the toxins in your body. You can do this by altering your diet and changing the products that you use on your skin. In addition, alkaline foods are very important to this process.
